Marin Man – Back in the Saddle!

I have recently picked up a Marin White Line. She’s a little more XC than I normally ride (flat bars / long stem / bar ends) but what a joy! I’ve been riding her to work all week and having a real blast! What a little pocket rocket.

I love cycling at this time of year: losing the back end in the mud, the challenge of the wind and rain and the ever darkening skies and throwing the bike around underneath you to stay out of the worst of the gloop. These challenges are reasons to get out on your bike, not reasons to veg on the sofa.

So dig out your lights and mudguards, throw on those extra layers and have some dirty fun! Your bike handling skills and fitness levels will improve the more you ride in the Winter. So embrace the season!
