Travelling without moving! – Marin Man update.
I had a moment of madness on the commute home from work the other week and decided I’d like to raise some money for charity by riding an exercise bike for the whole day at work, whilst teaching my classes at the same time. Having got the go-ahead from school I set myself up and rode for 6 hours straight. It made a change not to be cut up by poor drivers, or over-taken by poor cyclists whilst waiting at a red light.
It was great fun and good to challenge myself, while raising money for a good cause.
Many thanks to all those who threw cash into the collecting bucket and supported me throughout the day. It was a great experience and quite addictive! So what next? Watch this space…
