Last night the sky was red and the cherry tree in my garden was blossoming. This morning I decided it was about time to ditch the tights and leggings, stick on shorts and thinner layers and off-road to work. The Marin White-Line and I had a throughly great time. This morning I fell off (poor riding!), had a buzzard fly down the trail twenty yards in front of me, saw a fox, got chased by a goose, saw the sun rise through the trees and the mist hovering over the fields. And all before 7.30.
I had to get up and leave a bit earlier and work a bit harder to do it, but I arrived at work buzzing. Tomorrow I’m going a new way. Who knows? I may get lost and have to ride further…work to live, live to ride!
Marin Man.
