FRAME

The Wolf Ridge is the third bike in a range of four FRS adjustable-travel bikes from Marin. It uses the same 6061 aluminium monocoque front triangle and swingarm, but instead of a fixed shock pivot, the one on the Wolf Ridge is adjustable via a quick-release lever mounted behind the shock. The frame has line guides, an IS disc mount and replaceable hanger, which did its job on the trip back from Spain – it was bent inwards but the frame remained intact. Weight for the whole bike is a lightweight 27.5lb; we say ‘lightweight’ because most six-inch travel bikes weigh more than that. More »
