FrameThe Mount Vision (Pro) frame is made from 6061 aluminium. Welding on the monocoque front triangle and monocoque swingarm is flawless and both are available for the first time in polished silver. The kinked top tube would normally over inches of standover clearance, but Marin runs a 13″ bottom bracket height on its bikes, so for a 4in travel bike, the standover is only average. The high bottom bracket also makes the bike very tall and the bars very low. Our 17.5in frame needs a longer head tube or more steerer showing on the fork. The 22.5in top tube is a reasonable length and combined with the 120mm created a flat back racer tuck. The swingarm has an integrated disc mount but still the redundant cantilever bosses. With for the complete bike is 24lb. More »
