Three bikes in one with a killer kit package
Marin’s TARA (Travel And Ride-height Adjustment) bikes picked up our bike of the year award for 2002, so we’re not shocked to see that it’s unchanged for ‘03, but does it still cut it? Marin’s seam welded monocoque frames have been doing XC and long travel duty for a few years now, balancing reasonable weight and stiffness with simple durability and massive mud clearance. The only slight niggles are the bottle placement and its appetite for original Fox shock bushes, yet Marin’s O-ringed option last a lot longer. More »
