Compact XC trail bike with hardnut credentials.

The four bikes in Marin’s AXC (Aggressive Cross-Country) hardtail range cost between £455 and £975. They set themselves apart from other Marin hardtails by using longer travel forks, slightly heavier-duty parts and compact reinforced frames with lots of standover clearance. We suspect these Marins will appeal to riders who want to ride harder than average XC race-bred bikes will allow and don’t mind a little extra weight. Our medium test bike tipped the scales at a reasonable 13.8kg. More »
