Downhill madness, Sir Isaac Newton would be proud The Garbanzo Award The Marin Quake AL7 was a show stopper. The 6.9-inch-travel bike’s rear suspension is designed by Formula One suspension guru Jon Whyte. Jon based it off his QUAD-Link suspension system that works on a four-pivot, floating swingarm platform with the path of the rear axle tuned to cancel out pedaling forces yet conform to the terrain.
