Marin have signed up for another year as sponsors to the Renault Driver Development Programme.

It means the young Formula 1 drivers of the future will be training on Marin full suspension bikes when they are not honing their race driving skills on circuits across Europe. More »

Welcome to Marin – The Mount Vision brings us back full circle

WHEN Gary Fisher first fit a geared drivetrain to his Schwinn Excelsior little did he know how it would send the sport of klunkin’ over the top. Now he and his buddies – Charles Kelly, Joe Breeze and millions of soon to be followers, could pedal themselves up to the top of Mt. Tamalpais. After scoping out the panorama of San Francisco Bay they turned around and bombed back down. There was no longer a need to wait for a shuttle. Pedal back up on your own and do it again. It wasn’t until that first fat-tyre gear shift that Marin County could rightfully lay claim to inventing the mountain bike. More »
